Marine plywood is suitable for direct water contact to plywood. WoodCo BWP Plywood as per IS: 710 Marine Grade with improved multi-tasking abilities than normal plywood to suit different climatic conditions. Bonded with unadulterated PF (Phenol Formaldehyde) resin, it can bear alternate drying, wetting and other temperature differences.
Application
WoodCo Marine plywood is widely used in the vessel / ship structures, for constructing flat boats, lifeboats, ship cabins, steam bath cubicles and other light marine crafts. Also as woodwork in kitchens, bathrooms, panel inserts, exposed cabins, partitions and much more.
Marine plywood is manufactured from durable face and core veneers that have few defects. This gives the marine plywood the ability to perform better in humid and wet conditions. Marine plywood is also able to resist delaminating and fungal growth. These unique abilities allow the marine plywood to be safely used in environments where it is exposed to moisture for long periods. Hence, it is frequently used in the construction of docks and boats.
